WayneTwp: Handicap Parking Placard Application

Handicap Parking Placard Application

Starting August 2018, residents with a temporary disability can visit the Wayne Township office to be issued a temporary handicap parking placard for a fee of $1.  Temporary placards are issued to persons with a temporary disability and are valid for the length of time indicated by the certifying physician, not to exceed 90 days.  Applicants need to present a photo ID.  If an individual other than the applicant is picking up the placard, please bring a copy of the applicants photo ID (both sides).

Until then, applications may be taken to any Secretary of State facility for immediate processing. You can also mail in the Temporary Disabled Parking Placard application to the address listed below or contact your local Village/Township to inquire as to whether or not they immediately process a Temporary Disabled Parking Placard application. The Village of Woodridge (630-719-4712), Bloomingdale Township (630-529-7715) and Hanover Township (630-837-0301) are a few facilities in this area that immediately process Temporary Disabled Parking Placard applications. Please call those facilities for restrictions.
