Senior Event: Lunch and Kentucky Oaks
Friday, May 5, 2023 — 11:30am
The Oaks is a stakes race for three-year-old Thoroughbred fillies staged annually in Louisville, KY, and is held on the Friday before the Kentucky Derby. Guests at the Oaks are asked to incorporate pink into their attire to honor the Oaks official flower, the stargazer lily, and to bring national attention to the fight against breast and ovarian cancer. We want YOU to incorporate pink into your wardrobe too- from hats to handkerchiefs, suits to sundresses, sunglasses to sneakers!
We will have our own horse race as well as prizes for the top three winners of our “best, original, big, creative, flamboyant, bold, over-the-top” hat contest!
Lunch from Dee's Catering includes:
- Garden salad
- Smoked brisket with bourbon BBQ sauce
- Veggie blend of broccoli, carrots, peppers and mushrooms
- Mini corn bread muffins
