If you're a senior (55 and up), Wayne Township is the place to be. Employees of the Senior Center say there's no good reason not to join in the fun, "unless, of course, you're just as happy to sit at home, alone and become a couch potato, or you are allergic to fun." In fact, many studies show that individuals who have friends, laugh and stay active, live longer and healthier lives.

The Senior Center is always a busy place at the township office. Beside the resources and activities there, the calendar is always full of trips to interesting places and events around the Chicago area and beyond!

There is so much going on, and there are so many people involved, that the Center produces its own 16-page bi-monthly newsletter. Much of that information appears here on the website, but you'll need the newsletter to get all the inside information!
